Video Transmitters

The EVT22 is a micro-miniature video transmitter specifically designed to provide high quality transmission of both colour and black and white images with audio transmission incorporated. This transmitter is ideal for battery operation due to its extremely low current drain. Exceptionally compact, the EVT22 can be easily concealed - even within the housing of a camera. Audio compression is a main feature which allows for perfect reproduction of whispers and louder sounds without distortion.

This is a microwave video transmitter and can be used with black and white or colour cameras. Naturally it also transmits audio and is suitable for battery operation and covert installation.

The EVT80 will provides the longest range of all the transmitters pictured here and has an output of 2 Watts. Capable of transmitting colour, black and white and audio and incorporating GaAsFet technology it ensures a transmission efficiency second to none. Its outer casing design of a rugged milled housing with integral heat-sink is specifically created for continuous and unattended operation.

Transmission ranges of all transmitters can be enhanced by utilising a power amplifier. The PA20 offers an output of 2 Watt, while the PA100 will increase output to 10 Watt. Both units are contained in rugged heat-dissipating housing.

In order to achieve the highest quality audio from a video surveillance operation it is essential to feature a compressed audio module. With this equipment the audio levels are boosted and loud audio is processed in such a way distortion is eliminated. This is particularly relevant in large monitoring sites. The compressed audio / preamplifier unit allows for the signal to be taken directly to a VCR up to a mile away. Redundant wiring in houses or alarm systems can be utilised thereby cutting costs.
